Did you know that you can bet on more than just Masters odds to win and matchups in Masters betting?  There are numerous Masters props on the board at top online sportsbooks. You can bet on anything from whether there will be a hole-in-one to whether or not Tiger Woods will make the cut. Masters props start with first round action on Thursday and continue through Sunday. Let’s look at some of the Masters props and make some Masters prop picks.

Masters Props

Will there be a Hole in One?

Yes -225

No +170

The Yes is really the only way to go in this prop. There has been at least one hole-in-one in 22 editions of the Masters, including each of the last four. More than half of the hole-in-one’s have come since 2003.

Will there be a Playoff?

Yes +275

No -400

There could be some value in taking the Yes on this prop. There have been six Masters playoffs in the 2000s. There are more good golfers than at any time in recent memory and it would not be a surprise if we see a playoff this year and we are getting nearly 3-1 on the Yes.

Winning Margin

Playoff +275

1 Stroke +300

2 Strokes +275

3 Strokes +550

4 Or More Strokes +350

The margin of victory prop is always interesting. Between 2005 and 2017, five of the Masters were decided in a playoff, while the other eight were won by two shots or more. It is interesting that the last two have been decided by a single-shot. I think taking the 1 stroke win at +300 is worth considering.

Will Tiger Woods Make the Cut?

Yes -400

No +300

We know that Tiger owns the longest active made cut streak at August with 19 in a row, but there is no value in playing the Yes. Tiger has not played that much of late and he hasn’t really played that well, but it is hard to see him missing the cut at Augusta. This is a pass for me.

Top American Player

Bryson DeChambeau +600

Dustin Johnson +700

Justin Thomas +800

Xander Schauffele +900

Brooks Koepka +1000

Patrick Cantlay +1400

Bubba Watson +1600

Patrick Reed +1600

Tony Finau +1600

Collin Morikawa +2000

Tiger Woods +2000

Webb Simpson +2000

Matthew Wolff +2500

Jordan Spieth +3300

Rickie Fowler +3300

Scottie Scheffler +4000

Cameron Champ +5000

Jason Kokrak +5000

Phil Mickelson +5000

Billy Horschel +10000

Gary Woodland +10000

Kevin Kisner +10000

Matt Kuchar +10000

Zach Johnson +10000

Brandt Snedeker +12500

Brendon Todd +12500

Kevin Na +12500

Lanto Griffin +12500

Charles Howell III +15000

J.T. Poston +15000

Chez Reavie +20000

Lucas Glover +25000

Max Homa +25000

Nate Lashley +25000

Tyler Duncan +25000

Andrew Landry +30000

Andrew Putnam +30000

Fred Couples +40000

Andy Ogletree +50000

Jimmy Walker +50000

John Augenstein +100000

Larry Mize +100000

A U.S. player has won the Masters in each of the past two years, so if you are going to bet this prop, I think you are better off taking the player to win the overall event. I know that McIlroy and Rahm are definite contenders, but if you like someone like DeChambeau, Johnson or Thomas, I think there is more value in taking them to win the overall tournament. If, however, you like a longshot, then you might want to take them here.  Someone like Matthew Wolff or Scottie Scheffler might be worth considering at odds of +2500 and +4000 respectively.

Top Asian Player

Hideki Matsuyama +120

Sungjae Im +300

Si Woo Kim +600

Byeong-Hun An +700

C T Pan +2000

Jazz Janewattananond +2000

Sung Kang +2000

Shugo Imahira +2500

Yuxin Lin +3300

I am taking a shot and going with Im at odds of +300. He has played well this season and at 3-1, he really just needs to get past Matsuyama for this bet to cash.

Top Australian Player

Jason Day +175

Adam Scott +200

Cameron Smith +300

Marc Leishman +600

Lukas Michel +3300

Day has some value in this prop. He has played better of late and if he doesn’t have any injury issues, he is the clear choice among the Australians and we are getting nearly 2-1.

Top Continental European Player

Jon Rahm -225

Francesco Molinari +600

Bernd Wiesberger +1000

Henrik Stenson +1200

Rafael Cabrera Bello +1200

Victor Perez +1200

Bernhard Langer +2800

Jose Maria Olazabal +10000

I rarely like laying prices in golf betting, but I can’t resist this one. I can’t see anything other than Rahm winning this bet. Molinari has been awful this year and I don’t see any of the other players getting close to Rahm. I think the -225 is actually a bargain price.
