It was frustrating to see my Week 9 NFL Parlays lose since both of them could have been easy winners. In my Frank Reich Parlay of the Week, the Carolina Panthers were 7.5-point underdogs by the NFL betting odds yet ended up winning outright over the New Orleans Saints. Carolina stayed within the number the whole way, and then Chuba Hubbard found the end zone for the second time in the second half to give the Panthers a win. Unfortunately, Buffalo failed to cover the number against Miami. The Bills came out of the game slow but still looked set to cover until Tua Tagovailoa threw a touchdown pass to Jaylen Waddle with 98 seconds left in the game.

My Total Parlay of the Week was perhaps even more disappointing. I read the Los Angeles Chargers and Cleveland Browns showdown perfectly. Cleveland was completely inept on offense, while the LA Chargers had just 13 first downs. However, the second leg of that parlay lost as the Denver defense completely collapsed against Baltimore. Lamar Jackson torched a very good Broncos’ secondary, leading to the game going over the total despite a mere 10 points from Denver.

Week 10 NFL Parlay Picks

Frank Reich Parlay of the Week

Arizona Cardinals ML +101 vs. New York Jets

Indianapolis Colts ML +176 vs. Buffalo Bills

$100 to win $454.76

It’s crazy to see the New York Jets favored on the road against the Arizona Cardinals. The Jets do have a few extra days to prepare after playing on Thursday Night Football in Week 9, but they did not play well in that game despite snapping a five-game losing streak. New York finished with under 300 total yards of offense and never led until the fourth quarter. Meanwhile, the Cardinals are currently atop the NFC West at 5-4. They have won three straight games, and Kyler Murray has performed well at home this season.

Indianapolis is currently 3-1 at home this season. The Colts’ only home loss was a two-point defeat at the hands of the Houston Texans in the season opener, and they have since knocked off Chicago, Pittsburgh, and Miami in the Hoosier State. Joe Flacco didn’t play well last week, but Buffalo’s defense has struggled to stop the run, and the Colts excel at running the ball with Jonathan Taylor. The Bills had a tough time getting past Miami last week, and there’s little doubt they are looking ahead to their showdown with the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 11.

Total Parlay of the Week

Under 39 in Los Angeles Chargers vs. Tennessee TitansUnder 43.5 in Dallas Cowboys vs. Philadelphia Eagles

$100 to win $269.28

Once again, I am loving the Unders when it comes to my Total Parlay of the Week. The Los Angeles Chargers were good to me last week, and I’m going to back them once more this time. The Chargers have an excellent defense, and Tennessee has struggled to move the ball. Additionally, the Titans have a fantastic defense that is much better than anyone thinks, and Jeffery Simmons has done an incredible job stopping the run up front.

For the second leg of the parlay, I’m going to take the Under in Dallas vs. Philadelphia. The Cowboys have not been good on defense this year, but Philadelphia’s offense is not firing on all cylinders. The loss of Jason Kelce has really affected this ground game, and the passing attack is struggling with both A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith banged up.

On the other side of the ball, the Cowboys won’t have Dak Prescott on Sunday. Prescott suffered a hamstring injury that might keep him out the remainder of the season, thrusting Cooper Rush back into the spotlight. Rush is in his seventh season with the Cowboys, and he has seen quite a bit of action over the last four years. However, he has thrown just nine touchdown passes in 275 pass attempts, so don’t expect much from the passing game. The ground game is one of the least effective in the NFL, and I don’t see Dallas scoring much given what is working against them.
