Weekend College Basketball Picks - NCAA Basketball Picks
With the NFL reaching the playoffs and the college football season in the books, it’s time for sports bettors to turn their attention to college hoops. Without further ado, here’s my top rated selections for this weekend’s college hoops betting action.

With the NFL reaching the playoffs and the college football season in the books, it’s time for sports bettors to turn their attention to college hoops with the season now in the thick of divisional play. That is unless you can stomach what the NBA has become. For those that can’t, this will be my first foray of the season in hopes of lining your pockets with cold hard cash for the loaded Saturday and hangover cure Sunday cards. I know the NFL playoffs are going on, but make sure at least one of your screens is tuned into college basketball. Without further ado, here’s my top rated selections for this weekend’s college hoops betting action – Slam Your Man!!

Saturday CBB Picks

Oklahoma Sooners vs. TCU Horned Frogs

Boomer Sooner just got rolled up and smoked in Austin by a Longhorns team that held them to 52 points by way of shooting 1-of-13 from beyond the arc. Porter Moser’s troops are a much better 3-point shooting team than that (No. 93), but it likely won’t need to rely upon its long range shooting in this one running up against a TCU defense ranked No. 219 in 2-point defense. OU currently ranks No. 2 in 2-point offense and should eat the Horny Toads alive close to the rim. I’m comfortable laying up to 3 in a game that might open around a pick ‘em. Look for Tanner Groves to have a big game and for the Sooners to return to Norman with a win and cover in tow.

Texas A&M Aggies vs. Missouri Tigers

Don’t look now, but Buzz Williams has got A&M playing some inspired ball. They’re 14-2 SU overall and produced a winning mark ATS in going 8-7. It’ll invade Columbia off back-to-back home wins and covers against Arkansas and Ole Miss to increase the win streak to seven straight. Certainly they’ll mop the floor with the same Mizzou squad that just got rolled up and smoked by a Razorbacks squad it most recently beat, right? Not so fast my friend! The Aggies have a huge week upcoming with games set to go against Kentucky at home and the rematch with Arkansas on the road. Something tells me they’ll have one eye on those matchups and overlook the Tigers who’ve been much more competitive in their own barn. Take the points!

Colorado State Rams vs. San Jose State Spartans

The Mountain West has been one of the more lower scoring conferences in the country to this point of the season. Only two of the 11 teams have played to more overs than unders. The Rams and Spartans aren’t either of them. However, I’m expecting some points to hit the scoreboard in this matchup with CSU and SJST representing two of the better long ball shooting teams in not only the conference, but the entire country. Neither team forces many turnovers and each stinks at hitting the offensive glass. There should be ample opportunities to run both offenses. Hopefully this total hits the board in the mid-140s cuz I got it in the low 150s!

Sunday CBB Picks

Ohio State Buckeyes vs. Penn State Nittany Lions

The Buckeyes just got their salad tossed at Wisconsin by a 78-68 final count as 4-point dogs. It marked the third time in the last four games that Chris Holtmann’s kids surrendered at least 78 points. It’s clearly not working at the defensive end of the floor right now, and that’s something that must be shored up moving forward if E.J. Liddell and company are to compete for B1G bragging rights. I’m expecting the defense to right the ship back home against a PSU offense that’s struggled to put points on the board (No. 285). Penn State’s scored 67 or fewer points in four of its last five games, and already only managed 64 versus the Buckeyes at home back on December 5. The 76-64 final combined to go past the 130 point total. I’m hoping linemakers adjust and set the total for the rematch closer to 140 in this sleepy Sunday morning spot. Should that occur, hit the under and run!
