We are coming off an MLB parlay win on our totals pick last Sunday, as the Tigers and Rockies went way over the total, while the Diamondbacks and Angels stayed under. As we head into the MLB All-Star break, we have a full schedule of games on Sunday, July 9 with a number of nationally televised games. The early game on Peacock has the Texas Rangers at the Washington Nationals. MLB Network has two games, as they are showing the Chicago Cubs at the New York Yankees and the Seattle Mariners at the Houston Astros. ESPN+ has the game between the Pittsburgh Pirates and Arizona Diamondbacks. We’ll focus again this Sunday on three main picks for our MLB sides parlay and two picks for an MLB totals parlay. Sunday MLB Parlay Picks
Texas Rangers
The first team in the parlay will be the Texas Rangers, as they visit the Washington Nationals. It should be Dane Dunning going for Texas, while Washington throws Patrick Corbin. Dunning has been a nice surprise for Texas this season, as he is 8-1 with a 2.61 ERA. Corbin is usually a go-against pitcher for me, as he rarely throws a good game. He is 5-10 with a 5.13 ERA. I’ll take the Rangers as the first team in the parlay.
Cleveland Guardians
The Cleveland Guardians host the Kansas City Royals on Sunday and it should be Shane Bieber going for the Guardians. The Royals were unsure of their starter for Sunday as of this writing, but it doesn’t matter to me who they throw. Bieber is 5-5 with a 3.86 ERA and he should dominate at home against this Kansas City lineup. I’ll take the Guardians as the second team in the parlay.
San Francisco Giants
The Giants host the Rockies on Sunday and it should be Kyle Freeland going against Brandon Webb. The Rockies are one of the worst teams in the league and Freeland has not been anything special, as he is 4-9 with an ERA of nearly five. Webb has been pitching better of late and he is 7-7 with a 3.38 ERA. I’ll take the Giants as the last team in the sides parlay.
Sunday MLB Parlay Total Picks
Braves-Rays Under
The two top teams in the league meet on Sunday in Tampa with the Braves visiting the Rays. It should be a great pitching matchup with Bryce Elder going for Atlanta, while Tampa throws Zach Eflin. Elder is 7-1 with a 2.45 ERA, while Eflin is 9-4 with a 3.24 ERA. I’ll go under the total with the Braves and Rays for the first half of the totals parlay.
Pirates-Diamondbacks Over
One of the late afternoon games on Sunday has the Pirates visiting the Diamondbacks and it should be Luis Ortiz going for Pittsburgh, while Arizona sends Zach Davies. Ortiz is 2-3 with a 4.86 ERA overall and on the road is ERA is nearly six. Davies has been a weak spot in the Arizona rotation, as he is 1-4 with an ERA of more than six. He has been even worse at home with an 0-3 mark and an ERA of more than seven. This has all the looks of a game that will have the bullpens involved early, so I will go over the total with the Pirates and Diamondbacks as the back half of the totals parlay.
