Sunday MLB Parlay Picks
Miami Marlins
The Miami Marlins have a chance to get things going in the right direction again this weekend, as they host the Colorado Rockies. The Marlins definitely have the pitching edge on Sunday, as the Rockies are expected to send Chase Anderson, while Miami goes with Jesus Luzardo. Anderson is 0-4 on the season with an ERA of more than six, while Luzardo is 8-5 with a 3.34 ERA. I’ll take Miami as the first team in the parlay.
Atlanta Braves
The Braves have slowed down recently and Bryce Elder hasn’t been as dominant of late, but I think he turns things around on Sunday in Milwaukee. The Brewers are not a team that is anything special offensively and I expect Elder to get back to his normal self. The Brewers will likely go with Julio Teheran and he hasn’t been that good with a 2-4 record and an ERA just over four. I’ll take the Braves as the second team in the parlay.
Houston Astros
The Houston Astros visit the Oakland A’s on Sunday and as of this writing the Astros were undecided on their starter. I don’t care who the Astros throw because the A’s are going with Luis Medina. He is a go-against pitcher for me, as he comes into this game at 3-7 with a 5.79 ERA. I’ll take the Astros as the last team in the parlay.
Sunday MLB Parlay Total Picks
Royals-Yankees Over
The Royals and Yankees have been inconsistent on offense this season, but both teams should score some runs on Sunday. The Royals are expected to send Jordan Lyles, while the Yankees go with Luis Severino. Lyles is 1-11 with an ERA just over six, while Severino is 1-4 with an ERA of nearly seven. This is definitely a good spot for both teams to have a bit of a breakout offensively, so I will go over the total with the Royals and Yankees as the first game in the totals parlay.
Diamondbacks-Reds Over
The Diamondbacks visit the Reds on Sunday and this is one of those games where I am taking the over regardless of who the Diamondbacks throw as long as the Reds send Luke Weaver. He has been one of the best pitchers in the league to bet his games over the total. The Reds somehow win a lot of his starts but Weaver has been terrible this season. He is 2-2 with an ERA of more than seven. The Diamondbacks have been scoring a lot of runs lately and Cincinnati is definitely capable of scoring some runs at home. I’ll go over the total with the Diamondbacks and Reds as long as Weaver is on the mound for the Reds.
