Sunday, August 6 MLB Parlay Picks
The Dodgers visit the Padres in the Sunday Night Baseball game on ESPN this week. We’ll focus again this Sunday on three main picks for our MLB sides parlay and two picks for an MLB totals parlay. Let’s look at Sunday, August 6 MLB Parlay Picks.

The Los Angeles Dodgers visit the San Diego Padres in the Sunday Night Baseball game on ESPN this week. The Dodgers are leading the National League West, while the Padres are trying to make up ground in the Wild Card race. The action on Sunday starts early on Peacock with the game between the Chicago White Sox and Cleveland Indians. MLB Network will be showing the game between the New York Mets and Baltimore Orioles and the game between the Seattle Mariners and Los Angeles Angels. ESPN+ will also be showing the Mariners vs. Angels game. We’ll focus again this Sunday on three main picks for our MLB sides parlay and two picks for an MLB totals parlay. Sunday MLB Parlay Picks

Philadelphia Phillies

The Philadelphia Phillies get a break this weekend, as they host the pathetic Kansas City Royals. The Royals are expected to send Zack Greinke to the mound. He is 1-11 on the season with a 5.32 ERA. For those of you who don’t remember, it was Greinke who quit on the Royals many years ago, but the Royals in their ultimate stupidity decided to sign him again and Kansas City is getting what they deserve, as Greinke has rolled over and mailed it in again. The Phillies should be sending Taijuan Walker who is 12-4 with a 3.99 ERA. I’ll go with the Phillies for the first team in the parlay.

Cincinnati Reds

The Reds are another team that gets a break this weekend, as they face the Washington Nationals. At least the Nats try, but they are usually overmatched. The Nats are expected to send Jake Irvin to the mound again and that is all I need to know to take the Reds. Irvin is 3-5 with a 4.86 ERA this season. As of this writing the Reds were undecided on their starter for Sunday. It doesn’t matter to me, as I will go against Irvin and take the Reds for the second team in the parlay.

San Francisco Giants

The San Francisco Giants visit the Oakland Athletics on Sunday and you should be sensing a theme by now, as we are going against bad teams for this three-team MLB parlay. The Giants are expected to send Alex Cobb, while the A’s send one of my favorite go-against pitchers in Luis Medina. Cobb is 6-3 with a 3.05 ERA, while Medina is 3-8 with a 5.35 ERA. I’ll take the Giants as the last team in the parlay for Sunday.

Sunday MLB Totals Picks

Mets-Orioles Over

It should be Jose Quintana going for the Mets on Sunday, while the Orioles send Kyle Bradish.  The Mets have packed it in for the season, but they still have some decent hitters including Pete Alonso. Quintana is 0-2 with a 3.57 ERA, while Bradish is 7-6 with a 3.32 ERA. I’ll go over the total with the Mets and Orioles for the first game in the totals parlay.

Braves-Cubs Under

We should get a good pitching matchup in Chicago on Sunday, as the Braves are expected to send Charlie Morton to the mound, while the Cubs counter with Justin Steele. Morton has been solid for the Braves with a 10-9 mark and a 3.62 ERA, while Steele has been excellent for the Cubs with a 12-3 mark and a 2.65 ERA. I’ll go under the total with the Braves and Cubs for the last half of the parlay.
