The 16th Annual Pioneer PureVison Las Vegas Bowl is set for December 22, 2007 at 8:00 PM PST. Each team will receive $1 million for attending the Las Vegas Bowl this year. The 2007 Las Vegas Bowl will host the champion, or first selection, from the Mountain West Conference and the 4th-place team from the Pac-10 Conference.

The Las Vegas Bowl has secured Pioneer Electronics as its title sponsor.

As the title sponsor of the Las Vegas Bowl, Pioneer will be incorporated into the official bowl logo and receive on-site exposure via ignage and program advertising. Pioneer also will receive television inventory, VIP/hospitality packages, and other in-game promotional elements. In addition, Pioneer will have the opportunity to display PureVision plasma televisions and other digital entertainment technology at the stadium during pre-game activities as well as during the Las Vegas Bowl.

Las Vegas Bowl History

In 1992, the Las Vegas Bowl was created as a post-season game between the Mid-American and Big West champions, replacing the California Bowl and the Raisin Bowl. Since 1997, it has matched a WAC team against an at-large opponent.
