College Baseball World Series

The College World Series (CWS) baseball tournament is the culmination of the NCAA Division I Baseball Championship
and the winner is crowned the NCAA Division I Baseball Champion. The best eight college baseball teams, after advancing through the regionals and super-regionals, compete against one another in two four-team brackets. The winners from each bracket then compete against one another in a best two out of three series to decide the College World Series champion!

The College World Series is full of thrilling moments, and has had some of the greatest players in baseball participate. Historic baseball players like; Dave Winfield, Roger Clemens, Randy Johnson, Todd Walker and Barry Bonds have all played in CWS games.

Since 1947 the College World Series has crowned the champions of college baseball, and since 1950 the College World Series (CWS) has been played in Omaha, Nebraska. With a contract in place keeping the College World Series in Omaha through 2035, we will continue to be able to, bet on the greatest baseball from the college game in the classic Nebraska location.

The 2009 College World Series will begin on Saturday, June 13 and conclude either June 23 or June 24, 2009 on Omaha. All 17 possible baseball games will be televised wither on ESPN or ESPN2.
