Chavez VS LeHoullier Odds
The match between Julio Cesar Chavez Jr, 39-0-1 (29 KOs) and Jason LeHoullier, 21-1-1 (8 KOs) will now be featured on Top Rank’s Latin Fury 11 on September 12 in Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico.
Chavez Jr., 23, pulled out of the middleweight bout with a reported rib injury just hours before the LeHoullier camp was scheduled to fly to Mexico for a scheduled July 25 event. LeHoullier was disappointed with the postponement, but after 23 professional fights, the 31-year-old knows the drill. Again, that's just part of boxing. There was a bit of silver lining, though.
Also on the September 12 card, WBO Minimumweight champ Donnie Neites will be defending his title against Manuel Vargas.
Undefeated light middleweight contender Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (39-0-1, 29 KO’s) faces yet another washed up opponent at the age of 31, Jason LeHoullier (21-1, 8 KO’s) on September 12th, in the Latin Fury 11 card at the Grand Mayan, Neuervo Vallarta, in Nayarit, Mexico. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. (39-0-1), at age 23, is ranked high in the light middleweight division at number #3 in the World Boxing Organization and #4 in the WBC, even though he’s yet to face a top tier opponent.
In his last three fights, Chavez hasn’t looked good at all struggling to beat Matt Vanda twice, a decent 2nd tier fighter, and then beating Luciano Leonel Cuello by a narrow 10-round decision in March 2009.
